The Bible says you must not be discouraged…

The Bible contains many encouraging words: "Do not be discouraged, do not be discouraged, do not give up..."

For example, it encourages preachers not to be discouraged by the ministry God has given them, and church members to do good work without discouragement.

And it encourages those in distress not to be discouraged.

I think human nature is prone to disappointment and a tendency to give up easily...

I don't think there's anyone who hasn't experienced disappointment in their life.

When I think about my ordination (formal pastoral certification)...
...I wonder if I'm truly working enough to meet God's expectations...😓?
Looking back at my own "view of a pastor"...I feel ashamed, thinking it's close to a failing grade...

However, it is precisely when we are disappointed and discouraged that we need to reveal our true feelings to God❗️
…God gladly listens to such prayers❗️
…Because you are a precious child of God.
Even if you are not perfect, even if you are easily discouraged…you are undoubtedly a child of God❗️
