The Colossian church was a small, young church.
A teaching different from the Gospel entered this church, and the newcomers, who had just come to faith, were misled by it.
This reflects Paul's desire for them to grow into mature believers!
"By spiritual wisdom and understanding..." 🤔
This is not about your own thoughts, but about being given correct wisdom and the power of understanding by the Holy Spirit!
...When you believe in Jesus Christ...your values change.
Your perspective changes, doesn't it? 🧐
You begin to think not only about this world, but about eternity.
...And you begin to think about things like "loving consideration" for others.
✳️This is very important!
...What is God's will? 🤔
It is what God desires, what pleases God.
Once you understand this, you consciously choose what pleases God!
