Our lives have both times of prosperity and times of adversity.
From the perspective of worldly values, it's easy to think, "What if life was only smooth sailing...?"
...In religions focused on personal gain...
They only list things like family safety, business prosperity, good health, and passing exams... only the good fortune.
...However, adversity is necessary for human growth!
...Therefore, the Bible writes that adversity is also God's doing, and comes from God!
..."To prevent us from knowing what will happen later"...🤔
...The Lord... keeps the future hidden.
...Things like getting sick, being laid off this year, passing an exam next year, etc...
We don't know what the future holds. 😢
...I think this is so that we can trust the Lord completely in the future. 🤔
...It's so that we can learn step by step... trusting in God!
If we could see the future, we wouldn't need faith. 😰
...We don't have a 100% guarantee that we'll be alive tomorrow.
Therefore,
today we trust in the Lord and pray that it will be a day pleasing to God. 🛐
