During their 40 years of life in the wilderness,
the Lord was certainly present in the tabernacle✨

"By day He guided them with a cloud; by night He provided a light of fire all night long."

…He protected them from the intense heat of the wilderness during the day as a cloud,
and by night He protected the Israelites as a light from wild beasts and other Gentile tribes!

…When they complained of having no food He gave them manna, when they complained of having no water… He made water spring forth from the rock, and when they complained of having no meat… He rained quail down from heaven,
and they ate until they were full…
…God was merciful,
and forgave their iniquity and did not destroy them.

However, they tested the Most High God, rebelled against Him, and did not follow His teachings 😰

They had stubborn and obstinate hearts. Even after being freed from slavery,
...They rebelled against God in the wilderness and did not obey Him 🥶
...They forgot God's many miracles and works...😭
This is what the psalmist repeatedly says.
... Many of those who call themselves Christians... harbor the same stubborn hearts as these Israelites...😱
Their end is... destruction.
God...

...Let us encourage and pray for one another so that we do not forget what the Lord has done for us, and so that we do not stray from God's word 🙏
