Even something hot, once swallowed, its heat is forgotten.
Even painful experiences, once they're over, are forgotten.
Also, even when helped in times of suffering,
once relief is achieved, the gratitude is forgotten.
...I think this proverb reflects human nature...😓
...Jesus and his followers...
Entered a village near Galilee. There, they encountered ten people suffering from a severe skin disease.
...They were ostracized from their community...😰
...Jesus...had mercy on them...
Ten people were healed by Jesus.

…But…only one Samaritan returned to Jesus. 😱

They were all crying out to Jesus from the bottom of their hearts, pleading, “Jesus, Reverend, please have mercy on us!”
…And on the way to the priest, they realized their illness had been healed, and I imagine they were very happy…
