Jesus suddenly said to the brothers Peter and Andrew,
"Follow me!"

But to become a disciple of Jesus Christ, obedience is essential!
So, without even pulling up the net, they left it behind...😱
They immediately followed Jesus.
...It wasn't because they were special people...or because they were heroes of faith.
...They simply trusted in Jesus' words.
...Like Peter, we sometimes experience disillusionment in our daily lives...😨
Even when we do our best, care for our surroundings, and dedicate our time,
we sometimes feel that we have gained nothing...😵
…At times like these, we become exhausted and lose motivation 😓
…But the reason we lose motivation is…
Fundamentally, isn't it because we didn't trust in God's word, because we didn't surrender to it? 🤔
…Nevertheless,
Each of us is… one of the fishermen who catch people❗️.
…We trust in the word of God that Jesus speaks and go out with Him 🚢
Jesus says to us, “Put out into the open sea, let down your nets, and fish.”
…Go out into the open sea❗️.
Christians who followed those words…spread into world evangelism,
and the gospel has reached you❗️.
Next year…we'll be heading out into the open sea 😅.
