Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Cyprus, Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, etc… Many countries look upon Jerusalem.
Even now, Israel, and its capital Jerusalem, are situated in the middle of surrounding Arab and Islamic countries, and for better or for worse, they all watch over the city.
…Therefore, Jerusalem had to shine as a light ✨ for the world.

They should have testified to the world that the Lord is the true God. 😥
...But they not only neglected this duty, 😰
They even acted in ways that fell short of the standards set by the surrounding nations. 😰
...The city of God, Jerusalem,
received the privilege of God's great glory and blessings more than any other city in the world. 😓
Yet they betrayed this privilege, rebelled against God, engaged in idolatry, and murdered the prophet sent by God.
Their responsibility is immense.
...We must never forget the greatness of the grace of the cross of the Lord Jesus that we have received!
...When we take this grace for granted, we too...
may stray down the same path that Jerusalem took 😱
and suffer the consequences of our sins.
Let us walk today with gratitude for being alive.
