Teacher, which of the Laws is the most important commandment?

Matthew 22:36-40 states…
“Rabbi, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
A legal expert asked Jesus…🤔❓️
And Jesus replied…
The first commandment is, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your mind.”
The second commandment is, “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
…They are just as important as the first commandment…
The whole Law and the Prophets depend on these two commandments.

When I hear the word “command”…😨
Personally, I have the image of being forced.
…If I were forced to obey God’s commandments❗️
…it wouldn’t last long…and it would tire me out…😰
…Why do we…try to follow Jesus?
…It is because…
1 John 4:19 states…
“God first loved us.”
...Love is...giving what is most important❗️.
What is...what is most important...🤔❓️
It is...[life].
Jesus Christ...gave up his life for you✝️.
Through that,
we came to understand love.
Those who understand this love are those who have received salvation.
...Those who are saved...turn away from sin...so as not to pain the heart of Jesus, who loves them...

By connecting with God through love, you gain the strength to overcome sin.
