Morning Word from Pastor Peter Sunagawa
Jesus repeated "Jerusalem, Jerusalem"
twice…😨
Those words carry the weight of a long history.
He cried out to those who had repeatedly turned against God…even when given opportunities to repent…
They rejected God, turned their backs on Him…
And were destined to be destroyed if they continued on this path…
…
…I think it's the same today 🤔
…Many people hear God's word…
And even though He urges them to repent in order to be saved from this crooked world…it's like talking to a brick wall…😤
…They are rejecting Jesus again today…
Jesus…carried the entire history of rejection spanning thousands of years on His shoulders✝️and opened the way to eternal life…😢
No matter how many times we are rejected, God's love continues to pour out.
Let us open our hearts before that love and walk with Jesus❗️
Shalom 😄
