…What does it mean to "bear fruit"? 🤔
Acquiring knowledge and skills, getting the job you want… and achieving results to contribute to society… Certainly, that is bearing fruit.
However,
the “fruit” in the Bible is… 🤔 “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.”
…And…it is the raising up of people who believe in Jesus through us.
…In today's society…where productivity and effectiveness are demanded,
the “fruit of the Spirit” may seem insignificant.
However,
without these “fruits,” no matter how much you achieve, you will not find true happiness…I believe.
…The fact that the Lord has chosen you…that is the foundation of faith.
By planting the fruit of the Spirit…on that foundation…you will have an influence on those around you.
You are chosen, loved, trained, and used by God.
