MESSAGE

Morning Word from Pastor Peter Sunagawa

Good morning 🌄

Saturday’s Morning Word… 📖

Psalm 121:4.

“Behold, the Protector of Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.”
・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・
What does “slumber” mean… 🤔❓️
It means becoming drowsy, nodding off 😴 and being overcome by sleepiness… 💤
…
The Lord does not slumber. Unlike human beings, He does not fall asleep❗️
…
In the Old Testament…
The Lord went before the people of Israel.
There was a pillar of fire 🔥 at night and a pillar of cloud ☁️ by day, showing them which way to go❗️
…
The Lord was with us constantly, day and night.
…
And the Lord has not changed❗️
…
Life is a journey.
Where are we heading? Toward God’s Kingdom in heaven❗️
But those who walk toward heaven will encounter hardships, trials, fear, anxiety, and opposition along the way.
…
The Holy Spirit is essential on the journey toward heaven❗️
He was sent as our Helper❗️
…
In the Old Testament, there were the pillar of fire and the pillar of cloud.
Today, the Holy Spirit guides us❗️
…
He never slumbers.
Let us follow Him this morning, too.

Shalom 😃
