Supported by the Root, Not the Branch
“Do not boast over those branches. Even if you do boast, it is not you who support the root, but the root that supports you. You will say, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.””
Romans 11:18–19
“Do not boast over those branches. Even if you do boast, it is not you who support the root, but the root that supports you. You will say, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.””
Morning Word from Pastor Peter Sunagawa
Good morning 🌅
Sunday’s Morning Word… 📖
Romans 11:18–19.
“Do not boast over those branches.
Even if you do boast, it is not you who support the root, but the root that supports you.”
“You will say, ‘Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.’”

When I watch various Christian videos and read their comments 🧐
…
I see Christians making statements critical of Israel❗️
…
Of course… this does not mean that we must
support the Israeli government 100%.
Yet some accept what the so-called “trash media” report 😡
and are led to believe:
“Israelis are bad people!”
…
The Bible does not tell us to condemn Israel.
…
Will we believe the Bible? … Or will we believe the so-called “trash media”?
Those are the two choices, I say❗️
…
To become a Christian is to become a spiritual Jew❗️
Christians are branches grafted into the Jewish tree.
We are told not to complain about or speak arrogantly toward those branches (do not boast)❗️
Our spiritual standing is that of branches grafted in, receiving support… 😥
…
Our Lord Jesus Christ was also Jewish.
I believe the world is becoming increasingly anti-Christ
and antisemitic 🤔
…
Genesis 12:3.
…
“I [God] will bless those who bless you [the people of Israel], and whoever curses you I will curse.”
…
“Be cursed”… 😨
When you bless the people of Israel…
the blessings of God’s Kingdom will flow from you to those around you.
That person will become a source of blessing❗️
Shalom 😃
